Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of education, training, work environment, and work experience on employee performance at the Health Office of North Barito Regency. The research method applied is a quantitative approach using a census technique, where all 40 employees were taken as the research sample. Data were collected through questionnaires, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS version 25. The results reveal that simultaneously, education, training, work environment, and work experience significantly affect employee performance. Partially, education, training, and work environment have a positive and significant effect, while work experience has a negative significant effect on employee performance. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.861 indicates that 86% of the variation in employee performance can be explained by the four variables, while the remaining 14% is influenced by other factors not included in this study. Training was found to be the most dominant variable influencing employee performance. These findings highlight the importance of continuous training programs, a supportive work environment, and relevant education in optimizing the performance of employees at the Health Office of North Barito Regency.
