This study aims to analyze the implementation of wages in improving employee performance at the
Savings and Loans Cooperative (Koperasi Simpan Pinjam) Tunas Muara Teweh. The research
method used is descriptive quantitative with a population of 38 employees, all of whom were included
as the sample (saturated sampling). Data were collected through interviews, documentation, and
literature review, and analyzed using job analysis, job evaluation, and wage surveys. The findings
indicate that the wage system applied by the cooperative is based on job classification while
considering internal equity and external equity principles. Proper wage implementation was proven
to enhance employee motivation, discipline, and productivity in achieving work targets. In addition,
the provision of bonuses and rewards for employees who exceed targets further strengthened work
loyalty and commitment. Thus, wages function not only as compensation but also as a strategic
instrument to sustainably improve employee performance.
