PENGARUH KETERAMPILAN MANAJERIAL PIMPINAN TERHADAP PRESTASI KERJA PEGAWAI KANTOR DEPARTEMEN AGAMA BARITO UTARA

This research was aimed to find out the effect of Leaders’ managerial skill on official’s performance at Religion Department of North Barito. Leaders’ managerial skill included giving information and guidement related to the job, motivate the official to be ative. Furthermore, it was supposed to identify the most dominant factor in afeccting officials’ performance. The 50 sample was taken by using random sampling technique from 170 officials as the population. Data Analisis used multiple regression. First hypothesis were tested by using F-test, while the second hypothesis by using R-test. Both were tested in 5% significant level.the result showed that : 1. Leaders’ manajerial skill in telling information, guiding, participating and delegating simultaneously had significant effect on official’s performance at Religion Department of North Barito. It can be seen from the degree of Fhitung (30,907) > Ftabel in significant level 0,05. Coefficient determination (R squared) was 0,773 which showed 73,3% all of independent variables in this research simultaneously has significant effect on official’s performance at Religion Department of North Barito. While 26,7% effect was given by other factors outside this research. 2). The second hypothesis was accepted. The result of ttest showed : Variable telling information (X1) had tcount as 3,017 at probability 0,004, smaller than α = 0,05, variable guiding (X2) had tcount as 2,444 at probability 0,019, smaller than α = 0,05, variable participating (X3) had tcount as 2,364 at probability 0,022, smaller than α = 0,05, variable delegating (X4) had tcount as 3.459 at probability 0,001, smaller than α = 0,05. The most dominant variable in affecting official’s performance at Religion Department of North Barito was delegating (X4)
